概要：The course offers a broad training, in applied environmental geology and provides a range of skills, including the design and execution of ground investigations, analysis of geotechnical and geoenvironmental data, resport writing and oral presentations. 1st six months (Taught Courses): Geotechnical Engineering; The Engineering Behaviour of Soils; Land Contamination, Assessment and Remediation; Remote Sensing and Geophysics; Environmental Assessment and Regulation; Water in the Environment; Transferable Skills; Project Planning, Design and Management. 2nd five months (Project Work): Industrial placement with engineering consultancy, local authority, and other environmental agencies. Site-based project work leads to submissions of MSc dissertation in September.
