概要：This unique MA has been devised to offer students of poetry and prose the opportunity to develop a substantial creative project within the context of the study of authorship, both historically and in the present day. While many MA programmes offer the compatible study of practice and theory, the MA in Creative Writing and Authorship is unique in viewing the writers of the past as creative practitioners, encountering within their cultural contexts issues of authorship which still impinge on the lives and practice of writers today. The study of the issues of authorship, in both contemporary and historical contexts, will take place in taught sessions and workshops devised to complement the development of each student's creative writing, in one-to-one tuition and in masterclasses specially tailored to meet individual student needs. Students will benefit from the expertise of core tutors professionally experienced as writers, editors and critics. The programme will incorporate tuition on the pitching of work to prospective agents/ publishers
