概要：The Centre is happy to consider applications from experienced teachers in the field of English for Academic Purposes who want to carry out a substantial piece of research, or action research, without committing to more than one year?fs study or to the demands of PhD level work. The MRes consists of a range of generic research training modules taken via the Graudate School and a 30,000 word dissertation on a topic proposed by the candidate on application to the Centre. The Centre for English Language Education (CELE) offers an exciting and stimulating environment in which to study. It is one of the largest University Centres worldwide for English for Academic Purposes (EAP) having teaching, comparative research and data-gathering opportunities in both the UK and China at the Ningbo campus. The Centre holds a substantial archive of Chinese students?f writing and oral interviews and welcomes applications from researchers in this area.
