概要：This MA has been designed to provide you with a special opportunity to gain first hand experience of EU institutions and their operation. The opportunity is based on an extended placement in a regional office in Brussels. Lancaster University is an EU documentation centre and all the proceedings of the European Parliament and other official publications of the European Union are available for consultation in the University library. The taught component of this degree provides you with an academic grounding in European law, political institutions and environmental policy. Workshops will familiarise you with contemporary issues before your placement. The placement in Brussels is the centrepiece of the programme. It offers you a chance to observe the operations of EU institutions at close quarters while reflecting more widely on contemporary issues.During the placement, you will be expected to contribute to the normal work of the office on a fully professional basis. You will work under the supervision of a full-time employee of the office and be simultaneously responsible to the MA course co-ordinator at Lancaster University.
