概要：This programme, which is deliberately post-disciplinary in its approach, is taught jointly with the Department of Sociology and the Law School, with contributions from other departments in the Arts and Social Sciences Faculty and the Management School. It focuses on globalization, ICTs and social transformation and introduces key theoretical approaches which facilitate critical evaluation of these concepts. It prepares you for advanced research or participation in a world shaped by these forces. As well as the usual two core courses, you take an additional five-week module developing practical IT skills. The full list of options includes modules taught in Sociology, Law, Linguistics, Management, Gender and Women's Studies and Cultural Research.
