概要：The International Masters in Economy, State and Society (IMESS) is a unique, innovative, dynamic yet firmly established postgraduate programme offered by a consortium of leading European universities. It is recognised for its excellence by the European Union's Erasmus Mundus Programme and leads to the award of a highly prestigious double degree (UCL plus partner university). IMESS draws on a unique pool of resources to offer the definitive Master's course focusing on the fascinating Economies, States and Societies of Central and Eastern Europe. IMESS is a full-time, two-year integrated study programme, with the first year spent at UCL SSEES and the second at one of the partner universities in the Czech Republic (Prague), Estonia (Tartu), Finland (Helsinki), Hungary (Budapest) or Poland (Krak?w). The IMESS programme offers three distinct study tracks reflecting the multidisciplinary expertise of the consortium institutions. Each track combines specialist electives (economics, politics or history and culture), research methods training (social sciences or humanities), language tuition (Czech, Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian or Polish) with an advanced research project conducted during the latter part of the degree.
