概要：Management of environmental resources to protect human health and the systems that support life is one biggest challenges facing modern society. In recognition of the interdisciplinary nature of these challenges, Berkeley?fs Environmental Engineering Program provides students with training needed to address current and future environmental issues. Graduate coursework and research in the environmental engineering program is focused on the following areas: Air Quality Engineering (AQE) Environmental Fluid Mechanics & Hydrology (FMH) Water Quality Engineering (WQE) Students also are encouraged to develop a broad set of problem-solving skills through courses and research in related fields including: Earth and Planetary Sciences, Energy & Resources Group, Environmental Science, Policy & Management, Integrative Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Plant & Microbial Biology, and Public Health.
