概要：A new integrated course that combines the latest technologies with traditional modes of animation. The animation industry is booming, with films like Shrek, Persepolis and Monsters Inc attracting massive audiences. The MA Animation - a brand new course - recognises traditional modes of animation production and delivery. But it also acknowledges and embraces the impact made by new technologies that have resulted in contemporary animation's central role in moving image practice. If you have a background in animation, film and video, photography, illustration, communication design and graphic/interactive moving image then this course will interest you. It takes an integrated approach to the relationships between research, criticial analysis and creative practice. It seeks to offer an experience where you will be able to reflect on and be influenced by a broad range of creative strategies, approaches and practice. You will have the opportunity to propose and develop your own projects, supported through the taught elements of the course.
