概要：The programme is designed to cater flexibly for the needs of a wide range of students who want to deepen or extend their existing knowledge of Greek and/or Roman antiquity. The Department of Classics is now one of the major centres for the study of the ancient world in Great Britain, with the regular research forum of the Leeds International Classics Seminar attracting scholars from all over Europe and the USA. The Department has ten full-time members of staff and a number of tutors, as well as associated colleagues in other departments; the diversity of their research interests ensures that over the whole field of Classics teaching can be provided by experts who are actively advancing the frontiers of knowledge in the areas which they teach.
