概要：The course is open to students regardless of their first degree background. It will particularly appeal to those working in the communications industries and those who wish to develop a deeper and theoretically informed understanding of communications, their role in contemporary society, current and likely future developments, and their impact for citizens, governments and culture. The programme consists of two core courses that introduce central theories in media and communications and explore their application to the contemporary world. Students then select two optional modules from a broad range on offer in each year. The final element of the programme is a programme of research training culminating in a dissertation on a topic chosen by the student.
