概要：The MA in Development Studies (MADS) offers advanced cross-disciplinary training in development history, theory, research methods, and practical applications in a wide range of topics and geographical regions. The programme is driven by our practical engagements with development as much as by theory. MADS will be attractive to graduates from a wide range of academic backgrounds who are interested in understanding development. It will also satisfy professionals working in national and international NGOs, government departments, and other development activists, seeking social science perspectives on their work. Many of our graduates go on to pursue higher research while others obtain successful entries into careers in international development, civil service and the media among others.
