概要：The course provides you with a compulsory core of development studies options and a range of options relevant to social, political and economic development in East Asia. In addition you undertake research training leading to the writing of a placement-based research project and you have the opportunity to develop relevant skills in an East Asian language (Chinese, Japanese, Mongolian or Thai). During the summer period, you will undertake a 2 to 3 month work placement with a relevant development NGO, international aid body, or international development organisation project in East Asia or dealing with the East Asian region or its constituent countries and areas.
