概要：This MA offers advanced research training in International Relations. You take two core modules: International Relations Theory, which provides a general framework for further study in the discipline, and Methods of Social Enquiry, which looks at different ways of doing research at post-graduate level. In addition to the two core modules, students choose four options from a wide variety, which include: World Politics Since 1945, International political Economy, and American Foreign Policy. You also write a dissertation over the summer of about 10,000 words on a subject of your choice. The full-time programme is completed in twelve months. The academic year at UEA is divided into two semesters. Most teaching on the MA ends by the beginning of the Easter vacation. You must then sit at least two exminations which take place towards the end of the Easter vacation. For modules outside PSI, examinations might be at a different time. The weighting of those modules assessed by coursework and examination is 50:50.
