概要：Teachers on the course are drawn from a wide range of disciplines in the Humanities within Birkbeck College: English, History, History of Art with involvement also from the Warburg Institute . Options are available in palaeography, vernacular languages and Latin Teaching methods include lectures (core course), seminars (special subjects), workshops (language, palaeography and research methods sessions) and individual and group supervision for dissertations. Part-time students will, in the first year, take the core course (taught in one 12-week module) and one special subject (each taught over 12 weeks), and will complete two further special subjects plus preparation of the dissertation in the second year. Special subjects may be taken in either the first or the second semester.
