概要：Diagnostic radiographers use various technologies to translate doctors' requests into images that can help provide an accurate diagnosis. The diagnostic radiographer has the skills and knowledge to produce medical images and critically analyse the images and data generated. In the radiology department, the diagnostic radiographer will usually work with the radiologist. Elsewhere, they may work with a range of medical specialists in a variety of areas. Equipment can range from small mobile X-ray machines to larger units, such as MRI and CT scanners that cost millions of dollars, with all equipment requiring a high level of skill to operate. Although diagnostic radiographers work very closely with technology, it is important to have strong interpersonal skills to establish a rapport with a patient in a short period of time.
