概要：Nanotechnology deals with matter on a molecular size scale of nanometres (1 billionth of a metre). As a discipline it draws from physics, chemistry and engineering, and has potential for significant overlap with biotechnology. Innovative application outcomes and commercialisation opportunities are achieved by exploiting new levels of control of the fabrication, integration and properties of nanoscale objects. Students will have the opportunity to see and experience first-hand the tools employed in advanced nanotechnology development, and through project work will have the opportunity to draw on the skills and experience of leading university and industry nanotechnology practitioners.
