概要：The program is designed for professionals, both academics and administrators, who already have a career in tertiary education at the middle to senior level but who want to expand their knowledge and skills base in the area of management and leadership. As such, it builds on prior experience in the sector, and actively encourages participants to use and share their experiences. At the same time, the program builds on strong theoretical foundations in the social and behavioral sciences, with application to the tertiary education context. Finally, throughout the program an explicit international comparative approach is adopted. Academe always has had an international orientation, but over the last decades the sector has globalized. This is as true for the policy level as it is for the markets for students and staff, for approaches to teaching and learning, and for the research enterprise. This in turns requires exposure to the key international trends and issues for the participants of the program.
