概要：This programme has been designed to enable you to extend and enhance your skills in the development and application of mathematical and computational models used in the study of engineering systems to postgraduate level. You also have the opportunity to undertake in-depth studies in your chosen areas of interest. Graduates of this programme will be able to contribute effectively in a wide range of engineering environments, both industrial and research orientated. You take a selection of taught modules (120 credits) and complete an individual project (60 credits). Compulsory modules may include: modelling case studies in engineering; numerical methods and analysis with applications; advanced partial differential equations; continuum mechanics; computational fluid dynamics; methods in industrial research and development. If your first language is not English you will normally be required to complete a module in writing dissertations in science and engineering (10 credits).
