概要：The MA by Research is intended for students who can satisfy the Department that they have a sound grasp of the relevant area of Linguistics. Candidates must submit a detailed research proposal to the Graduate School. This MA involves training in research methods, such course work as may be deemed necessary, integration into one of the Departmental research groups and a dissertation of 20,000-25,000 words, which is submitted in September.
