概要：The MRes in the Politics and Economics of Eastern Europe is a one-year, research training degree in methods and approaches for studying politics, economics and society in post-communist Europe (including Russia and other post-Soviet states). It is intended primarily for applicants planning to do a PhD or MPhil or make a professional career in research, who already have a good knowledge of one or more of the languages of the region as well as some background in the social sciences. The MRes in the Politics and Economics of Eastern Europe is recognized by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and forms part of our 1+3 programme. UK residents and EU nationals accepted onto the programme may therefore be able to apply for ESRC funding. The ESRC deadline for receipt of application is the 1 May of the year in which you plan to start the programme. Approval by SSEES/UCL is needed before an ESRC application can be made. If you wish to be considered, for an ESRC 1+3 studentship, please contact the Programme Tutor in the first instance.
