概要：If instead of a taught MSc degree you are interested in gaining a degree by research, the Mathematics Department offers the opportunity to obtain an MSc by research. This is a one year degree (if taken at full-time). It involves writing a Master's thesis under the supervision of a member of academic staff on a topic to be agreed between the supervisor and the student. Submission is required no more than three months after the end of registration, although submission before the end of registration is encouraged where possible.
