概要：Established in 2003, the MSc/Graduate Diploma in Project and Enterprise Management explores current knowledge in the management of projects and enterprises - primarily but not exclusively, in the construction industry - in order to develop an expert capacity to approach contemporary issues in these fields. The course teaches concepts, tools and techniques employed in managing projects from their earliest stages of definition and development through to operations and maintenance. Such projects would be primarily construction, in the broadest sense (building, civil engineering, and process engineering), but there will also be reference to practices in aerospace, automotives, electronics, organisational change, pharmaceuticals, software and IT, and other forms of projects. The programme also aims to equip students with an understanding at an advanced level of contemporary management thinking regarding the management of enterprises, particularly with regard to the principal roles enterprises play in construction; and to give the students a sound appreciation of the way projects should best be defined, developed and delivered. Applicants for this programme are expected to have a UK second class honours degree or its overseas equivalent. Some work experience is also desirable.
