概要：In particular, this course focuses on the role of international development agencies and projects, the influence of international and national policies and the activities of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working in the environment or development fields, business partnerships and community-based organizations. We examine the key role that each of these players has in enabling development that is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable. Currently under development within the School, and of specific relevance to this programme, is an optional Environment-Development Overseas Field Course to Tanzania. Students enrolled on the MSc Sustainability (Environment and Development) programme will have priority access to this module, which aims to provide an opportunity for you to gain first-hand experience of Environment-Development issues and research in an African context.
