概要：The aim of the degree/diploma is to enable students to understand and reflect critically upon the historical context in which Christian theology is developed, tested, and affirmed. The core courses focus on the most authoritative ecclesiastical constructions of Christian thought from the beginnings to the present day, and explore the debates and challenges that have shaped belief and practice. The optional courses pursue particular themes within this broad framework. The dissertation allows students to develop their own work in the field, under supervision. The programme can be followed as an end in itself, or as preparation for a research degree.
