概要：The programme aims to develop your critical understanding of recent developments in TESOL theory and practice and to stimulate you to reflect on your own teaching; it also prepares you to conduct independent research into teaching and learning. There are three core areas of study: ?ethe language learner and language learning?f, ?eapplied linguistics for TESOL?f and developments in TESOL methodology?f. In addition, a range of options are offered, providing you with considerable freedom in selecting course components to suit your individual needs and interests. We also encourage you to develop your own areas of interest through your dissertation research. Applications are accepted throughout the year, but we would encourage you to apply as early as possible, and at least two months prior to the start of the course, to avoid disappointment. Please note if you are intending to apply for funding you may be required to have a firm offer of a place before your scholarship application can be considered.
