概要：If you are seeking graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, this will be your preference. The CIPD is the UK professional body for human resource managers. So, your choice of courses is constrained by the CIPD national standards. The orientation of the programme, for example, leans rather more towards UK employment relations than does the MSc International Employment Relations and Human Resource Management. You normally need a first class or upper second class honours degree or its overseas equivalent to be accepted onto the MSc. In exceptional cases, where candidates lack the required academic attainments, we take relevant work experience into account. However, we emphasise that the programme is academically demanding. We expect you to be inquisitive and thoughtful, to have good writing skills, and be willing to grapple with research methods. Even so, a social science degree is not a prerequisite. We find that well-motivated people wishing to change disciplines or careers can produce as outstanding results as those seeking to deepen their social science knowledge. If appropriate, you will need to pass the English language test at the higher grade specified by LSE.
