概要：More than 65 PhD theses are currently being undertaken by postgraduates students in the School of History attesting to the School?fs commitment to fostering innovative research and early careers. Many of these postgraduate students have been attracted to St Andrews by their wish to be supervised by a certain member of staff, often a leading contributor to his or her field. The research interests of members of staff range from 6th century Scotland to America in the 1970s and with over forty active researchers the number of areas of expertise is very large.
